⭐️ 4.75/5 Authentic Korean-Chinese restaurant. Service ⭐️ 4.5/5 Hardworking, nice, and friendly people. They accepted us even though they are closing in 30 minutes. Due to the family-friendly restaurant atmosphere, kids were going wild at some tables. Food ⭐️ 5/5 Generous portion size. Sweet and sour pork tasted so good, with a well-balanced flavor and crunchy texture. Noodles were good as well. I prefer more chewy texture noodles for black bean noodles and spicy seafood noodles, but it was on the floury side. It tasted perfectly balanced with lots of veggies and protein inside.

I booked on 30th December for today's dinner and they also got my phone number, name and details and confirmed the booking. However, when we visited today around 6:15pm, they were closed. I checked google and it said that the shop was open and I called them few times and no one answered it. It was my last dinner plan in Melbourne.. I invited my family in law to introduce Chinese Korean food, so it was very embarrassing 😳 I was very disappointed as well 😞

Starting with the positives, this spot is one of the only places to get jajangmyeon and other Chinese Korean classics. It’s comfort food at its finest with massive serves and good flavours. The chicken has a nice light, chewy batter and is delicious even before you slather it in sauce. The black bean noodles are also awesome as expected with a good bounce and well balanced flavour profile. On the downside, service was incredible slow. It took about a half hour from being seated to order and around another hour to revive any food, and from the look of it most other tables were the same. Items also came sporadically rather than all at once. There was only one person serving so more staff are definitely needed for busy nights. The chicken, rice and jajangmyeon combo also came with two big serves of black bean sauce which was generous but felt unnecessary. With just a few tweaks to service and organisation this would be such a great spot but not sure if the food alone is enough to pull me back again.

I saw this restaurant in a reel and decided to visit. We came on a Friday and it was a cute little restaurant situated at the end of a little alley. We ordered a bunch of dishes not realizing that they were massive portions. I loved the Jajjangmyeon, Tangsuyuk and Mandu; will definitely come back for them ❤️ The Jjamppong was just a bit too spicy for my taste and the gamjajeon was okay. Overall it was a great experience with nice staff.

Prior to Covid 19 I came across this restaurant when I was craving for jajangmyeon ( black bean noodles) and it was mind blowing. Service was friendly and servicing of the food was very massive. Went back today to try it again and had to wait a long time to be seated. No one came to check on people waiting outside in the cold. Had the black bean noodle and sweet and sour pork sirloin and it was very average. The batter on the pork sirloin was very bland and the sweet and sour sauce which came at the side was very sweet and nothing sour. Believe me serving was massive but taste wise very disappointing. Black bean noodle tasted nothing like before and if anything very sweet and filled with onion. I rather go for something small and nice. Honestly I would give 1 star for today but considering I did had a good experience couple of years ago keeping it to 3.
